    It was ideal base for travelling to Burford, I was glad to stay there. The staff was welcoming and personable and the room was stunning. Plenty of splendid food, I appreciated it. The location was secluded, magnificent in fields that can be hiked.

    We stayed for a night in a Very Comfy King size Room, freshly refurnished and perfect for relaxation. Enjoyed delicious dinner with a great selection of beers. The bar vibe was superb with many locals around. A highlight was the magical cricket ground nearby, perfect for a leisurely stroll after dinner.

    We stayed 4 nights in a cozy room overlooking a lovely garden. Breakfast was delish with loads of choices, and dinner exceeded pub food standards! Just a bit of a bummer when some rowdy guests at the bar got a bit loud, which disturbed the vibe. Still a great spot for a quiet escape.
